Driven Days

We will commence shooting at Clovelly from mid October 2010 for both full driven days and syndicate days.  The cost per bird starts from £33  + vat with discounts offered for both larger and double days.  We have currently sold a large proportion of our days and would recommend you contact us early to avoid any disappointment. Following are a couple of comments from visiting teams this month :

Traditionally Clovelly Shoot, offers some exceptional high bird shooting following are a few  extracts taken from The Clovelly Guest Book during prior seasons :

Your day will include a welcome light breakfast (if required), mid morning champagne, a traditional lunch at The Red Lion on Clovelly quay, all your drinks and afternoon tea.  We operate a reducing price structure per bird dependant on your size day, please contact us for further details.

Charles or his representative will meet with the guns over breakfast, answer any questions, provide a welcome safety briefing and give an explanation of the day planned prior to moving to the first peg. 

Non shooting guests/partners are welcome and can either join the drives and enjoy the spectacular scenery (bring a camera) or will find plenty to delight in the beautiful and historic village of Clovelly.

Each 'Syndicate' day offers a single or small group the opportunity to enjoy the shooting at Clovelly and will be based on a 275-300 bird day for a maximum of 8 guns at cost of £1,300 + vat per gun and includes hospitality comprising of a welcome light breakfast (if required) at The Red Lion on the quay at Clovelly, mid morning drinks and refreshments and lunch either restaurant or the snug bar at the end of the day.

As you will see, we are running both single and back to back days to enable those guns travelling a distance to stay overnight. We recommend either The Red Lion Hotel which is situated in the heart of the shoot on the harbour front t: 01237 431237 or alternatively, The Hoops Inn situated approximately 4 miles from the shoot t: 01237 451222. Both of which offer preferential shoot party rates.

We anticipate strong demand in these dates and would advise you to book early to avoid any disappointment. Payment terms are 50% deposit due on booking with the balance due on or before 1st September. All bookings made after September will be due in full.The day does not include keepers tips or loaders (which can be arranged for you at an extra charge).
